The Important Bits
Weddings can be a lot. Here's the bits and pieces that might be handy to know:
Ceremony & Reception
The fun-filled, lovey-dovey festivities will kick off at 14:00 at Orange Grove Hotel & Gardens. We recommend arriving roughly 30 minutes beforehand. The good news is all events and activities will be happening under one roof, so no need to move throughout the day. Once you're here, you're here!
RSVPs, Plus-Ones & Little Ones
Whether you're partying with us on the big day or celebrating with us at a later date, please let us know no later than 1st October 2026. You can click this link to RSVP, or any of the other RSVP buttons on our website. If you're wanting to 'kick it old school', you can also just let either Samuel or Phoebe know (whether that's via text, call, smoke signals - you get the gist!).
If you don't let us know by the cut-off point, we'll assume you won't be in attendance - no hard feelings, we promise.
We wish we could invite everyone and their fabulous plus one, but we’re keeping things a little more intimate. If your invite doesn’t mention a guest, we’re keeping you all to ourselves - we hope that’s okay!
And while we absolutely love your teens, tweens and toddlers to pieces, our wedding day is a grown-ups-only celebration. No under-18s allowed — just food, fizz, and bad moves on the dance floor. We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we plan to.
Travel & Accommodation
If you’re travelling from further afield (first of all, thanks!), you might be on the hunt for somewhere nearby to stay. You can, of course, try your luck booking a room at the Orange Grove Hotel & Gardens, but if you miss out, here are a couple of excellent alternatives:
Premier Inn Fareham – Only a hop, skip, and a 5-minute drive away (0.4 km), this trusty budget fave serves up comfy beds, free parking, and an on-site restaurant. Perfect if you want a no-fuss spot to crash and recharge.
Solent Hotel & Spa – A breezy 10-minute drive away (1.4 miles), this 4-star woodland hideaway has everything you need to feel fancy: indoor pool, spa, gym, and a gorgeous restaurant. Perfect for chilling out on your holibobs before the big day (if you fancy, that it). Go on, you deserve it!
If you're not staying over and driving isn't your thing, the nearest train stations are Swanwick (just a 20 minute stroll from Orange Grove Hotel & Gardens), and Fareham Station (about a 10-minute taxi or regular bus ride away).
Wedding Gifts
Two days after we say “I do”, we’re off to Rome! We'll be getting our steps in on the famous cobblestones, living on pasta and red wine, and toasting our new last name with a little too much limoncello. If you’d like to contribute to our honeymoon pot, you can do that here, but please don’t feel obliged*. Your love, laughter and dance floor commitment mean the world to us, and that’s more than enough.
*Psssssst! We know the PayPal pot cut-off date says September at the moment; it's the just the latest date it would let us choose right now. We'll make sure to update the pot closer to the time so you're able to give whatever you want, when you want.
